What is Spinning Babies®?

Spinning Babies® is a gentle, empowering approach that helps babies find their best position for an easier, more comfortable birth. Through simple movements and body-balancing techniques, it supports you and your baby in working together with more ease, confidence, and connection.

What You’ll Learn in a Spinning Babies® Class

In a Spinning Babies® Parent Class, you’ll discover gentle, effective techniques to help your body and baby work together for an easier, more comfortable birth. This class focuses on balance, movement, and gravity—helping create optimal space in the pelvis so babies can find their best position for labor.

You and your birth partner will learn:

  • Daily activities to support pelvic balance, comfort, and alignment throughout pregnancy

  • Spinning Babies® Three Balances℠, proven techniques that ease tight muscles and ligaments

  • Positions and movements for labor that encourage progress and help the baby rotate and descend

  • Partner-supported techniques to reduce discomfort and build confidence

  • Simple tools to help labor feel more manageable, calm, and connected

Spinning Babies® isn’t about forcing the baby into position—it's about helping your body work at its best so labor can unfold more smoothly and comfortably.

Why Take a Class with an Evidence Based Birth® Instructor

As an Evidence Based Birth® Instructor, I provide families with up-to-date, research-based information and practical tools to navigate pregnancy and birth with confidence. My classes go beyond standard childbirth education by focusing on evidence, informed decision-making, and effective communication with your care team. Together, we’ll help you feel prepared, empowered, and supported for a positive birth experience.

What are clients saying about Kristie’s services…

  • Kristie brought such warmth, gentleness, and genuine care into the process. It was evident that this was not just a service to her, but an investment in my health as part of my transition through postpartum. She explained everything clearly, answered any questions with patience, and handled my placenta with the utmost cleanliness, professionalism, and reverence.

    Emily B.

  • Kristie encapsulated my placenta and it was the most beautiful experience. She not only showed me the steps of how it’s done but talks about all the amazing things placentas do and how they are so helpful even after you have birthed them. Having her do the process right in my home was the coolest part! She is such a kind, loving person and is so passionate about what she does! I didn’t have the birth I planned and while she encapsulated my placenta she was also talking to me about all things birth teaching me and helping me through my birth trauma! Having her there was like a therapy session. When I have my next baby Kristie will be the person I call for all things placenta and birth! I also took classes of hers at the womb room and she is so knowledgeable and made me feel like I was making the best decisions. She taught me so so much. If you are thinking about getting your placenta encapsulated or wanting to take birth classes look no further! Kristie is the best!!

    Maria P.

  • She exudes calm and encouragement and has a wealth of knowledge that helped me have a great birth and postpartum experience. She listens well and goes above and beyond. If you’re looking for someone who brings heart, intention, and true expertise into the birth space, I wholeheartedly recommend Kristie. She’s more than a doula—she’s a grounding force and a gift to any growing family.
