What is Spinning Babies®?

Spinning Babies® is a gentle, empowering approach to pregnancy and birth that helps babies find their best position for an easier, more comfortable labor. Through simple movements, stretches, and mindful body balance, it supports both the birthing person and baby in working together. Loved by midwives, doulas, and parents alike, Spinning Babies offers a nurturing way to prepare for birth with more ease, confidence, and connection.

Teaching Philosophy

As a former educator in Baltimore City Schools and a previous graduate in the Reading Specialist program at Loyola University, my approach to teaching has been deeply shaped by both my professional and academic experiences. These roles have strengthened my ability to communicate complex information in clear, accessible ways while honoring the diverse learning needs of my audience. My passion for engaging clients in their own learning journey remains at the heart of my work. I teach in a workshop-style format that is highly interactive, intentionally designed to create space for movement, reflection, and discussion. I believe that when clients are actively involved—physically, mentally, and emotionally—they are more likely to internalize and embody the knowledge. My goal is not just to inform, but to transform the way clients understand their choices and their power in the birth process. This dynamic, learner-centered approach ensures that the information becomes a part of them—not just something they’ve heard, but something they carry with confidence into their birthing experience.

Birth is not only about making babies. It’s about making mothers — strong, competent, capable mothers who trust themselves and know their inner strength.
