What is Spinning Babies®?
Spinning Babies® is a gentle, empowering approach that helps babies find their best position for an easier, more comfortable birth. Through simple movements and body-balancing techniques, it supports you and your baby in working together with more ease, confidence, and connection.
What You’ll Learn in a Spinning Babies® Class
In a Spinning Babies® Parent Class, you’ll discover gentle, effective techniques to help your body and baby work together for an easier, more comfortable birth. This class focuses on balance, movement, and gravity—helping create optimal space in the pelvis so babies can find their best position for labor.
You and your birth partner will learn:
Daily activities to support pelvic balance, comfort, and alignment throughout pregnancy
Spinning Babies® Three Balances℠, proven techniques that ease tight muscles and ligaments
Positions and movements for labor that encourage progress and help the baby rotate and descend
Partner-supported techniques to reduce discomfort and build confidence
Simple tools to help labor feel more manageable, calm, and connected
Spinning Babies® isn’t about forcing the baby into position—it's about helping your body work at its best so labor can unfold more smoothly and comfortably.

Featured in VoyageBaltimore Magazine
I was featured in VoyageBaltimore Magazine, where I shared my journey from classroom teacher to birth worker. The article highlights the heart of my work, in particular, the courage to take risks, the strength to overcome challenges, and the deep calling to support families through transformative moments. It beautifully captures the essence of what I do and why I do it. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my story and the passion behind my path.
What are clients saying about Kristie’s services…
Kristie brought such warmth, gentleness, and genuine care into the process. It was evident that this was not just a service to her, but an investment in my health as part of my transition through postpartum. She explained everything clearly, answered any questions with patience, and handled my placenta with the utmost cleanliness, professionalism, and reverence.
She exudes calm and encouragement and has a wealth of knowledge that helped me have a great birth and postpartum experience. She listens well and goes above and beyond. If you’re looking for someone who brings heart, intention, and true expertise into the birth space, I wholeheartedly recommend Kristie. She’s more than a doula—she’s a grounding force and a gift to any growing family.
Kristie is such an engaging educator and group facilitator. She did an amazing job making our holistic childbirth class interactive and starting the class with a moment to build community and create an atmosphere that it felt comfortable to talk, ask questions, and move in.
She shared many thought provoking prompts and comfort measure ideas which facilitated good conversation and interaction between partners. I’m a physician assistant with medical training and came away from the class feeling like I’d learned a lot. This really helped prepare my mindset for labor and childbirth.
