why should I take an out of hospital birth class if I am planning to have a hospital birth?
01 / learn how to work with your body… not against it.
Understand the physiology of birth, how hormones support labor, and how movement, breathing, positioning, and relaxation can help you cope with contractions in any birth setting.
02 / feel confident advocating for yourself.
Learn about your options, common hospital procedures, and how to ask questions and make informed decisions. You deserve to feel heard, respected, and involved in your birth experience.
03 / discover more ways to cope with labor
Out-of-hospital birth classes often emphasize hands-on comfort measures, partner support, movement, and natural pain-coping techniques that you can use in a hospital setting, whether you plan on an unmedicated birth or want to keep your options open.
